Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland Movie Review

      Recently I watched Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, a remake of the classic book by Lewis Carol. I really love this movie and have already watched it multiple times. Two other Alice in Wonderlands have been made but I think this one has the strongest plot and characters. It starts with Alice, a young women struggling in a high-class society party. She keeps seeing a strange rabbit and ends up following it down a rabbit hole to Underland, which she calls Wonderland. She comes in contact with all sorts of curious creatures, such as the Cheshire cat, a Dormouse, a Bandersnatch, and my personal favorite, the Mad Hatter. This movie is about finding your path, identity and of course your muchness. During her time in Underland the big debate is, is she “The Alice”? Referring to “The Alice” that will slay the jabberwocky on Frabjous day. To me the characters in this story aren’t just mad, but they are brave and loyal, many of them are responsible for Alice getting around Underland. Everything in this movie is so inspiring and amazing. The Animation, CGI, and acting Alice in Wonderland contains are phenomenal. This movie truly makes you feel like you’re in Wonderland.

 

    Alice in Wonderland didn’t have anything in it as far as major or inappropriate problems. This movie may not be the best movie for younger viewers. Some creatures or people can be creepy at times, and the red queen does have a pond filed with dead people’s heads so there is that. Like many of my other reviews I will warn you this is not the classic totally nonsensical movie like the 1930 or the animated Disney one. Alice in Wonderland is a war movie and there are some pretty weird things in it. However I love everything in this movie, especially the Mad Hatter. He’s really crazy but loyal to Alice and the white Queen, and he’s sweet. He is just one of tons of wonderful things in Alice in Wonderland. Before watching you should ok it with parents or guardians and have them check rating or reviews. They might not be watching but God is.
