I had gone to church all my life, my parents and grandparents were always very involved in church. When I was 6 or 7 we moved and were going to the church my mom grew up in. I think I started asking a lot of questions and one day I asked about heaven. My mom said there would be no pain and sadness in heaven. I was and still am very terrified of bees and I asked her “So there are no bees in heaven?” I was so excited and we kept talking. I remember being pretty sold at this point because I was absolutely sure God was keeping all of the bees out of heaven. I don’t remember the time or place I accepted Christ but I remember even as a kid this amazing feeling! My dad baptized me in church but I didn’t really understand what it all meant. Over the years I have learned what an amazing day that was and grown closer to God. I love having a relationship with him and all the wonderful things that he is still doing in my life! The Lord works in mysterious ways
