Magic and hopefully music are coming to Disney Channel this summer with the new TV movie Descendants. Ever wonder what happened to those Disney heroes and villains after the happily ever after? Coming this July you can find out when Disney and High School Musical Director Kenny Ortega take us to the kingdom where they all live. That is the princes and princesses, the villains have been banished to an island for their terrible deeds. What have they done in this time? They all had children. Teenagers, Mal (Dove Cameron) daughter of Maleficent (Kristin Chenoweth), Jay (Booboo Stewart) son of Jafar( Maz Jobrani), Evie (Sofia Carson) daughter of the Evil queen (Kathy Najimy), and Carlos (Cameron Boyce) son of Cruela d Vil (Wendy Robinson), have been given a chance at redemption by the son of Belle and the Beast. They are invited to attend the prep academy but their parents have other ideas for their stay in the enchanted kingdom. Can the teens break from their parents evil ways, or will the next generation of true villains be born? Tune in this July to find out all about the next generation of Disney.
Disneyland's 60th Anniversary

Disneyland is celebrating their 60th anniversary. On May 22 Disneyland’s Resort Diamond Celebration begins. Disney’s website promises “dazzling entertainment and sparkling surprises” to celebrate the anniversary. Three new night show spectaculars will be debuting during the celebration as well. Disney Forever will be a new fireworks show spectacular. The Disney Paint the Night Parade promises to be “the biggest, brightest, and most vibrant parade in the history of Disneyland park. World of Color’s new Celebrate! will be a show you will not want to miss! The official anniversary of Disneyland in July 17, so be sure to stop by and see the magic going on this summer. Mickey Mouse is also celebrating his 87th birthday this year since his creation in 1928.
Warrant For Elsa's Arrest

On February 18th the Harlan Kentucky police department issued a warrant for Queen Elsa of Arrendelle’s arrest. That’s right Queen Elsa, apparently she might be to blame for their recent winter weather. Police are asking for help in the capture of the suspect but be on your guard, don’t try to capture her alone.

All points bulletin!!! HPD has issued an arrest warrant for Queen Elsa of Arendelle. Suspect is a blonde female last seen wearing a long blue dress and is known to burst into song "Let it Go!" As you can see by the weather she is very dangerous. Do not attempt to apprehend her alone.

Beast cast for Disney's Live action Beauty and The Beast

The official Casting for the Beast in the new live action movie was released March 5, Dan Stevens of Downton Abbey and Night of the Museum 3 ,will be playing Beast. Ryan Gosling turned down the sought after role after being Disney’s first pick and Stevens stepped in. According to IMDB the official casting for the movie so far is Dan Stevens as the Beast, Luke Evans of Hobbit and Fast and Furious as Gaston, Emma Thompson from Saving Mr. Banks as Mrs. Potts, and of course Emma Watson as Belle. I am so excited for the amazing cast, and I am really hoping it will be a musical! Disney’s Live action Beauty and the Beast is set to come out in 2017, and I can hardly wait!
Frozen 2 Officially Announced

On Friday March 13th every mega Frozen fan was crying tears of joy because Frozen 2 was officially announced! The plot has not been revealed, neither has the release date, but we know that it is coming! More Anna, Kristoff, Elsa, Sven, and of course Olaf! So many plot rumors are circulating but all we have officially from Disney according to Oh My Disney is “The news was announced at this morning’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders by Bob Iger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company; John Lasseter, Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios; and actor Josh Gad (voice of Olaf and all-around cool dude)”
Fingers crossed that this Frozen will be as amazing as the first! What do you think should and could happen in this sequel? Personally I am hoping for Kristoff and Anna’s wedding, let us know your thoughts!
The Rise of Squirrel Vandalism

We interrupt your regularly scheduled article to bring you this breaking news. Squirrel vandalism is on the rise in the Carlsbad, New Mexico area. To the right you can see the guilty party defiling Christensen property. Unfortunately, the culprit got away with most of the cushion. We haven’t been able to uncover his location because of his clever disguise as any other squirrel in the world. The hunt continues and justice will prevail.
